Neat houses in Billings

I love organic neighborhoods, versus tract housing, because all the houses are different and thus much more interesting. Today we walked through the historic housing area.

All the rest of my pictures and scans are of documents and pictures for the documentary. This, however, seemed fairy-land like.

Dave Peterson, the artist with the extraordinary pictures from Yellowstone, printed on canvas, told me that he uses Premium Edition Water Resistant canvas from Ink Jet Technologies.He uses Glossy roll on coating but he doesn’t follow their instructions, he dilutes it 2 quarts coating to 1.5 quart water. He applies two coats with a high density foam roller. It was the best looking canvas prints I’ve ever seen. I’d reached the conclusion that printing pictures on canvas was just a total mistake until I saw his work.
