Skiddaw again

Lovely morning with Skiddaw looking good as I hung out Mym's washing.
It stayed lovely, but not too hot, for our run up the valley between Skiddaw and Blencathra. I've done the run a few times before but the route has had to have changes to it due to flood damage and old railway repairs and it is now a bit longer and hillier than 5 years ago (though 3 years ago it was longer still with slightly more hill and more road).
The views on the first hill looking to St-John's-in-the-Vale have been opened up by tree-felling - but not much time to appreciate them! On the way down below Lonscale Fell the whole of Derwentwater and Borrowdale is revealed.
Generally satisfied with my time, it's not one for hurrying anyway as there are several places where it is strictly single-file.
