Off The Leash

Thanks to the appalling weather the park was pretty empty this morning, so I took the opportunity to let Murphy off his lead for the first time. He didn’t seem very interested in his newfound freedom, had a little cry and stayed quite close to me. At least he’s not going to make a run for it now he’s settled into our family.
H’s friend made a surprise visit this afternoon. She made the unfortunate discovery of a slug on Murphy’s head when he rushed in from the garden to greet her!
