Downing Street

We went in to Cambridge to take care of a few things today, and as we were walking along Downing Street, I remembered that today was Monday (I often have trouble remembering what day of the week it is) and the Mono Monday theme was "reflections"... just as we were passing this lovely big puddle in the street!

What serendipity!

Of course, there have also been a lot of reflections on the goings-on in another more (in)famous Downing Street...!

In response to Marpaul's comment: Just looked it up:  While Downing Street, London, is named after Sir George Downing, (1st Baronet) Downing College, Cambridge derives its name from his grandson, Sir George Downing, 3rd Baronet.
