Rubbish systems

Volvo are in the dark ages where on board computers and satnav is concerned.
You can’t update the maps, you have to download the full mapping software to a 32Gb memory stick and replace the whole system software, and the stick needs to be empty and reformatted or it won’t work.
Takes an hour to download and an hour and forty minutes with the engine running to install.
The trip computer is pants as well. The system in the Audi I bought 14 years ago was streets ahead.
