Postcards of Kindness

What better way to spend a rainy Monday than to write some postcards out!  Recently discovered the group Postcards of Kindness on Facebook which is a brilliant idea that gets people to send postcards/cards to various care homes across the country to hopefully spark memories and chats amongst the residents.  I've collected postcards for a number of years and always love sending them so have been sending a few a week and it's a really lovely thing when you see the photos appear on Facebook of the happiness it brings those receiving them.  It's even now spread to sending birthday cards to those residents celebrating 100th birthdays!  A simple way to connect us all!
