The Lure of Dusk

I'm not a fan of the short days although at least it seems we're getting a mild winter. Gazing out the window, the dusky sky was beckoning me. (I've got cabin fever.)

The next thing there's a family outing...

So five of us ended up walking to a nearby farm where I took this - not the greatest of photos, but it captures a bit of the feeling of being out exploring under the January sky as it got dark. I'm glad my young kids love these mad, spontaneous adventures. They'll know no other way.
