Heart of the Magnolia

This morning Cindy and I went for a long walk down to Deans Bush and back again.
It was very warm, but there was a good wind which I liked. Not many people around, and only a few market stalls at Riccarton House.
Found this lovely magnolia on the way, and it was just waiting for my hand to chose it.
Brought it home, and it is now perfuming the house with a lemony perfume.
Tried many ways of photographing it, and thought I could hand held, but in the end I resigned to using the tripod.
