Hoping...

...to look this good at 85!  It would be amazing to reach that age and be able to have such great mobility and vitality, too!!

Today I took family photos for a woman's 85th birthday (along with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren). She was a natural posing but very critical of her smile which made me laugh.  After all the posed family group shots, I told her that I would like to take a few portraits of her.  She was delighted to get the attention but then wanted to see every shot so she could give her stamp of approval.  It was all about the smile.....  ; ))

We were lucky as it is raining now.  Thank goodness we chose a morning time for the session!  Oh happy days  :))
