Causing a Stir

Poppy made pancakes because she was so ‘bored’ this afternoon. When she gets bored, she likes someone to take her out for a drive but we were too busy so she got cooking instead.
Alfie had his first football match of the season (they lost) and D came back with an enormous piece of beef from Waitrose. We invited my parents over this evening to help us eat it. We had a fun night, everyone trying to get their choice of song on Spotify, lots of laughs and then a few rounds of Bananagram.

A friend came over to see me this morning She is worried about her daughter. I desperately want to help but feel unqualified. I rang Helen who gave me some advice. All I can do is listen and give her a hug. It doesn’t feel enough.
