Twelfth Night
One last Christmas Tree picture on its final evening.
Tomorrow is the Feast of the Epiphany, when the Three Wise Men got to Bethlehem bringing their gifts of gold, frankincense & myrrh. In lots of countries, tomorrow will be the day for presents rather than our tradition of giving them on Christmas Day.
Traditionally however the Feast of the Epiphany brought the season of the Nativity to a close & was therefore when the festivities ended and the decorations dismantled. My tree is in the living-room but more unusually my living-room is upstairs. I avoid all the fuss and muss of removal by opening one of the windows as widely as it will go then firing the tree out the window on to the ground below! Its a good job I'm not overlooked by anyone.
