Pennine Bridleway

Into the Dale's today, a little recce trip.
And what a day. After a lot of meh since I returned from the Alps today was glorious. Just enough cloud to add some drama, warm enough for t-shirts without being muggy.
And.... Streams and pools and splashing. Though that was mainly for Missy. Here she is undertaking what she seems to think is very serious work. Identifying just the right rocks and pebbles that simply MUST be moved from the river bed and transported to the shore. To be fair to her she puts a huge amount of effort into this, but some of the rocks she grapples with are as big as her head.
