Summer Social

The sun even shone for the occasion!

There were two birthdays to celebrate and it seems there is always a summer outing for Workshop volunteers. So off we went this afternoon on a trip to the Kirk Gallery and Cafe, Tankerness.

Soup, sandwiches and, (especially), cakes were enjoyed by all. (I hope Poppy will supply a photo!)

A lovely setting for a relaxed Sunday gathering with friends. The church has been renovated with such imagination and flair. Everywhere you look there are interesting and inspired design details.

Home again, and fleetingly I wondered about some grass cutting before dancing... but catching up with the week's blips was far more appealing!
