Burma rope bridge...

Even though the sky was overcast this morning, we headed for Abbotsbury and the Tropical Gardens. They were amazing even when most shrubs had finished flowering. Much in the garden has been left to its own devises and was pretty wild in places. Very appropriate to this bridge which we wobbled over! The notice said not to cross in unsuitable footwear, or to walk in step or for more than 12 to cross at a time, and it’s one way only. My extra shows another view.....we weren’t really all that brave.

Home to a wonderful evening with all my sister and b-i-l’s family! Great to take turns at playing swing tennis and shops with the five grandchildren and to catch up with our nephews and niece and their respective wives and husband. The sun had come out and we ate pizza al fresco.
