The New Sea On, Maidstone

Weekly food shop today and the bliss of going to a supermarket (Waitrose in Allington) without the blight and blunder of bloody, annoying, time-consuming self-bloody-service-sodding tills! We went to our local Marks & Sparks on our Thursday trip (to buy food for Friday night, when no cooking is involved, just bung in the oven and set the alarm) and there were no humans on any tills so it was over to the hated self-service area. We reached a new record, calling over a member of staff four times in total - baggage area problem, alcohol code to be manually entered, barcode unrecognised and, finally, discount receipt not accepted. I was spitting feathers by the end!
After the weekly food shop it was a short trip into Maidstone for a quick pint and a bit of a chinwag and capturing today's image.
