Beauty and the Beast

Marie and I stopped in Mataura on the way home and if there if one place in the world that needs a bomb to blow it up Mataura would be a good start. Mataura Falls are situated between two giant industrial sites, the Alliance Freezing Works on the left and the abandoned Mataura Paper Mill on the left. Having been away from Invercargill for such a long time we felt we should go back a bit more often, catching up with Family is not a bad thing, but it's always good watching Invercargill disappearing in the mirror as we leave.
