Oh no.

The beautiful resort at Binna Burra burnt down today. I am so sad. We went there a few years ago with Bob’s siblings and all had a lovely stay. It’s on top of a mountain inland from the Gold Coast in Queensland. The fires have been devastating and it’s only early spring. I hate to think what the summer will bring.

Today I took Maddy to an intra club Physie competition where she got a fourth place. She was really happy as the other kids have been competing for years. after a wild windy day yesterday the weather changed to 3° and light drizzle. I wish it would rain properly though. The water resources dam at Burrendong has only 4% water and services quite a few towns.
