Big Cats and long tongues

After a humungous and long cloudburst the sun came out and stayed put for our 6 hour tour round Colchester Zoo. Another fantastic day out and wonderful to catch a glimpse of 'Taiga' the Tigress with one of her 3 cubs which were born on the 14th June, two boys and a girl and we got to feed the giraffes. What long tongues they have and so gentle. The King of the Jungle gave us long, hard stares and then continued with his extensive grooming routine.

Back to 'Matilda' just in time to catch the last half of the first of the new series of 'Strictly' - looks like it's going to be a fun series but I shall miss Darcey Bussell on the Judges panel.
