Protea

We were up early and on a mission as we knew the weather was expected to turn to southerly with rain later on in the morning.
Out to the garden, into the gummies (blipped yesterday) and extra layers of clothing as temperatures were around 5°. (Our high for the day reached only 7°)
Completed the job, in fact we did even more than planned.....it took all morning, the rain came in just as we were doing the cleaning of shovels, rakes and wheelbarrow.
We are both very pleased with our effort, took us four part days and what a difference the garden looks.  Well done us !!
A quiet afternoon was the order of the day - love wet Sundays.
I took the easy option, standing undercover at our door and photographed this Protea. Love the red edged leaves.
