We went on a min adventure to find the Leith Martello Tower. We walked along the beach from Portobello and climbed the harbour wall (see extra) at Seafield. The path along the waste water treatment plant was really nice, full of wild flowers and plenty of butterflies. We had to go the last bit on the seaward side of the wall. Unfortunately, a very new looking fence blocked our path and we didn't manage to get all the way to the tower. Still, quite nice little exploration of some bits of town I hadn't been to before. On the way back we stopped for a drink in the sunshine.
