Toro, Toro, Toro
A morning tour to the former royal palace at San Lorenzo de El Escorial. It was a beautiful place, full of history, and with works of art by Titian and El Greco among others. Our guide was very good too. No photos allowed though.
A short time for an afternoon siesta back at the hotel before our evening excursion out to Chinchón, where this photo was taken.
Today's Blip is a a bullseye, or rather bull's eye, view of the Plaza Mayor in Chinchón, south of Madrid, which we visited this evening.
In truth, we were going out for a meal in a local restaurant but had an hour or so free time in the town beforehand. The town square has been transformed into a bullring as there's to be a bullfight there either tomorrow or soon thereafter.
Glad we won't be around for the carnage.
