Norland Scarecrow Festival!

I love a good trail event and Norland Scarecrow Festival is no exception. It's been running for years and I think I've been to nearly every one of them! It's set in a stunning location up high on Norland Moor making for a brilliant walk up and down and round searching for the different scarecrow creations.

The theme for this year's festival is Space and the range of scarecrows didn't disappoint. The collection included ET, the first dog to go to the moon, The Clangers and The Smash Martians! My favourite was a display of different chocolate bars with space related names; Galaxy, MilkyWay and Mars. I thought it was really clever, outside the box thinking! I really enjoyed the afternoon. :-)

I am now settled down watching the Strictly Come Dancing launch show. :-D
