When we got home she took my laptop and her smaller siblings on both sides of her and started browsing possible new schools, explaining all about practically everything: how the school buildings look like at google street view, what subjects do you study (and what you don't), what kind of sports they do at which term, where do you eat your lunch, what's a school band, what's outdoor school like and when do they have them, do you were shoes in the classroom, etc. All the little things.

For the record, our house is now listed at the realtors website and I noticed some of my friends already sharing it with their friends who might be looking for a new home.

Yesterday I contacted potential landlord of a house for rent and he organized a viewing. So with a short notice I now have several friends as our local (Vancouver) references, two of my friends R & R promised to do the viewing for us and today came back with a report and pics in my mailbox.

What can I say - I'm finding helpful people all the time around us now and feel just blessed. Thank you.
