Travels - Day 17

Today, we drove around the archipelago just west of Helsinki. The beautiful, remote islands linked be some bridges and a series of ferries were fun to experience after the ‘hustle and bustle’ of three cities.

After the ride, arriving in Nagu, I managed to borrow a working phone and called the Lost and Found in Helsinki to check on my photo equipment. GOOD NEWS!!! Someone turned in my bag, so we drove straight to Helsinki and recovered it. 17 Euro charge, and the cameras, lenses, iPad and bag were mine. CHEERS TO THE FINNS. I’m sure in many countries, I would never have seen my photo equipment again. Thanks to those who helped with advice and encouragement. I am now off to take some pictures.
