Hydrangea

I love these late summer blooming hydrangeas.  They make me feel like summer is trying as I am to hold on.  

The county fair is being held this weekend and today was the judging of baked goods.  My usual cohort was away so I brought a newbie along.  We had a good time and had our fill of chocolate chip cookies and banana bread to last awhile, but the blueberry muffins were great!  We'll visit with Na'iema this weekend to see the animals and maybe a ride or two.  And for JohnSmiley, I'll have to have some kind of "fair food".
