Day 249/19 Sky

The pain of having the car serviced was offset by having it cleaned inside and out. When the bonnet is clean it reflects the sky and neighbouring trees. Tonight I am basking in the delight of my shiny car.

For some years I have taken the car to the main dealer to be serviced. This time I decided that the car was old enough to go back to the garage who looked after my old bangers for years. It is heart-warming to be greeted like an old friend.

I dropped the car off this morning and walked to work. In the evening I walked back to the garage so, when I got home, I'd hit my 10k steps. A very good day!

Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.
