Musee Unterlinden, Colmar

I dragged the family round this museum 15 years ago to show them the fabulous Issenheim Altarpiece by Grunewald. They weren't quite as impressed by it as I was, and I was even more impressed this time seeing all the separate bits of this vast painting exhibited in its new home: this former chapel that was adjacent to the museum and has now been incorporated into it.
