Across the flow (Day 1584)
Woofer wandering duties were taken on by my beautiful wife this morning, allowing me to get out the house and off to work a bit earlier.
I stopped off on the way to the bathroom re-fit to collect a sheet of wet wall and some adhesives and sealants. I am not brilliant at doing wet wall, and tend to spend ages doing measurements over and over again before I make the first cut. Prep time paid off this morning though and the first sheet was a perfect fit, and sheets two and three went on fairly easily too. After a very late lunch, I got the last sheet cut and fitted and had a tidy up before sealing around the top of the bath. I am fairly pleased with the way it is looking.
I got away from the job a bit earlier than usual and stopped on the way home to take a quick snap looking out at the platforms and tankers moored in Scapa Flow.
