Red Boy

The Northern Cardinals are looking just a bit rough at this point in the summer. They are molting and their new feathers are finally beginning to come in. This one was waiting his turn at the feeders. Things are beginning  to get back to 'normal' after our 'too close for comfort' two weeks with Hurricane Dorian. When I feel like complaining while I'm cleaning up the few small tree limbs and debris and putting the yard art back out...I just remind my self of the people on Great Abaco Island in the Bahamas and the hell that they are living through in the wake of Dorian.
