Stronsay

This is the point where the beautiful sunny morning changed to a wet and windy afternoon. We knew it was coming. When we got to the ferry to go to Stronsay this morning we were told there was a good chance that the boat back may be cancelled.

As we had appointments arranged we took the chance and went anyway... ended up spending an entertaining evening on Stronsay enjoying the hospitality of some very fine folk. Followed by a very comfortable evening in the island’s superb hostel.
