At the lake

We chose a bad day to meet Steph and the kids for tea. The M62 was closed and our detours meant a 40 minute journey took 2hrs 15mins.
Still we had a lovely meal of fish and chips chez Mr Thomas at Hollingworth Lake and these two had a brief run around afterwards.
They've both settled in nicely to school and after tea Adventure Girl read me her latest school book which made us all laugh. Gorgeous Boy fell into the world of Minecraft where he's happiest. He did show us round his new world.
When we came away the road had reopened. So glad!
