So near yet so far

The last day on the near continent. After spending the night in Audresselles we had a wander down to the beach. It's only on a clear day, you realise how close France and the UK are. The foreground shows fishermen on the French coast and in the background are the white cliffs of Dover. After being in Europe for a week you do realise that the continent and the UK are very different. Some supermarkets in Belgium don;t accept Visa and Mastercard, only Maestro. Diversions at roadworks in Germany just aren't obvious. I could go on.
