Bewildered at Altitude.

We set off at 08.00 to walk the complete ring of mountains from Gran Cier, Danter Les Pizes, the col of Crespeina, Sas Ciampac, Sad Ciempei, Cole Dale Sole. At breakfast we noted the not too impressive forecast, however we had super weather. Windy and chilly on top, we had to layer up on the summits. It is the highest I've ever eaten a gherkin.

We descended down the Vallunga Valley.
Fourteen miles, 9 hours, with some demanding walking and quite a bit of scrambling (to get into the bar).
