Caught a steam train - run by North Yorkshire Moor Railways - to Goathland - the setting for the TV programme Heartbeat - espying Scripp’s garage whilst there

After returning to Whitby - walked to Ruswarp and back along the Esk Valley - then took in a show at The Pavilion Theatre - It Runs In The Family - by Ray Cooney

Tuesday is traditionally the Bus Pass Walk day - no buses caught but we did plenty of walking
