Camouflaged

Yikes!  Almost stepped on this little one!  It blended in so well with the pebbles on the beach.  It was so much fun to watch, too, as it was not keen on the waves and kept swimming back and forth past me to avoid the water.  It looks like a Semipalmated Sandpiper.....I wonder if it got lost?  Strange to see one by itself at this time of year....

Yesterday, I had forgotten that it was a special blip day for me. Thank you for all the overwhelming comments - you all touched my heart!  You really inspire me to keep blipping even when I have lost my mojo and that is huge for me.  Sending you all hugs of gratitude! : ))
