I spent the morning on a very worthwhile tour of the Monasterio de las Huelgas - amongst other things it is where Eleanor of Castile married Edward I. She’s commemorated in the UK by the chain of Eleanor crosses from Lincoln to Charing Cross London.

Otherwise I stocked up on fresh food, lounged around camp then went for a little bike spin late afternoon, picked a few sunflowers - see extra pic. And another unusual camping arrangement - what’s the weight limit on a car roof rack?
