Barney

It's been a lovely lazy day. It is rare when I say I didn't get up till 1030am......disgusting, I know. To be fair, I did get up at 9 to make a cuppa but just took it back to bed with me :)

Si popped into town to the bank, and came back with flowers for me - I really should send him to the bank more often! We then had the architect round about some work on the house youd think we were planning to double the size of the house, the amount of time and hassle its taking!

We then went for a mooch round John Lewis and got a few additional bits for dinner - tonight we are cooking Spanish style chicken courtesy of The Hairy Bikers (fab cook book, I thoroughly recommend it).

And we have an extra four legged friend for the night. I use the word 'friend' lightly as Stanley has already gone nose to nose with Barney...........I've had to open the Pinot to distract myself from the growling. Bed time will be fun NOT!

We've bought a DVD to watch tonight rather than the cinema due to us dog sitting unexpectedly. Film of his choice is Mission Impossible 4 (or it could be part 6 for all I know). My nose will be in the last 50 pages of JoJo Moyes' The Last Letter From Your Lover - big thumbs up, she's one of my very favourite authors.
