Ominous

Ominous is the only word that appropriately describes the gathering storm clouds I observed while out paddling this evening. I rarely venture out at this time, a hour before dark, because the water is usually covered in waves kicked up by the afternoon winds. Today however, it was very calm, so I hopped on my board in hopes of getting some sunset photos. Fat chance of that, as these clouds quickly built over the course of my hourlong paddle and I barely beat the rain back to the house. I hope the panga in the photo above was similarly fortunate.
