Shorty after I took this image, the heavens opened and I got soaked, well my trousers did, my waterproof jacket worked and my upper half kept dry.
There is a saying, which goes something like this,' It isn't bad weather that gets you wet in the Lake district, it is bad clothing'. I wasn't worried about the wet trousers because they are made from material that dries very quickly. In fact within half an hour of reaching home, they were dry.
