Golden Hour in Warwick (Widwed040919)
Another day spent painting the lounge and sorting out some of the redundant furniture to go to the church charity setup ... our lounge now looks minimalist, but more like the colours it will be once we're done.
I had thought about going to Coventry for this week's wide Wednesday on City & Architecture, but with the sky looking threatening and not much time available settled on Warwick where we were rewarded with a brief burst of golden hour sunlight on the county museum building. The centre of Warwick does have some rather delightful old buildings, but also the truly dire 1960s council offices (see extra) and of course Barrack St car park which was nominated for a worst piece of architecture award a few years back.
Looking forward to seeing your entries for wide Wednesday and if, like me, you don't have a convenient city nearby, next weeks theme of a grand pile might be better for you.
