Above And Beyond...

Architecture

It's mostly been a beautiful sunny day which was good as it enabled me to do an aerial for this weeks Wide Wednesday Challenge on the theme of 'city architecture'.  Not long after I'd finished the photo' it started raining. Strange weather with alternating sun and rain!

The photo' is of The Chartist Bridge, Blackwood (South Wales, UK) which opened in 2005 and was named after the Chartists who marched from here to the Newport Rising of November 1839 when 22 people were killed.  A large statue is at one end of the bridge to commemorate it.
