Autumn colours and conkers

Our first visit to Saltram Park for a while left us in no doubt that Autumn is on the way. Some of the colours could admittedly could be due to a dryish Summer which followed a dry Winter and Spring? Conkers were well formed and already beginning to drop. With night temperatures well in single figures recently and again forecast for tonight perhaps the rate of change will increase
