Brexit means...no Duck Pond Improvement Scheme

I went for a brief wander around Apley Woods at lunch time and noticed the sign (top left corner) that said the duck pond had received money from the European Regional Development Fund.

That damn EU! We give them £6 gazillion an hour and all we get in return is some nice ornaments for a couple of ducks!**

** that will be sarcasm if it wasn't obvious.

The sooner we end this shambolic idea of leaving our nearest neighbours without any semblance of a trade deal the better. It really does seem like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
