Millennium Bridge in Pastels

This is always a lovely sight. The fantastic 'blinking eye' Millennium Bridge connecting Newcastle to Gateshead.....or the Piano and Pitcher pub to the Baltic Arts Centre (you choose which you prefer!)

There was a lovely sunset over the Tyne, seen against the backdrop of all the old bridges on the Quayside. What a great place to live ! there was even a warm breeze blowing and we also discovered a newly renovated pub near the Cluny and the river Ouseburn (The Ship).

We might just give them all a try - as there are now 5 great pubs in easy walking or crawling vicinity :)
