An assortment.....

....within a vase, pretty with it's shades and varying types of foliage, love the pop of red from a nandina plant and a splash of white perhaps a viburnum flower....rather nice on a cold wet spring day.

Lunch with mum at a different cafe today. We got caught up in a detour which went at a stop crawling stop kind of pace, then when trying to join the main road a policeman directed us to the opposite way we wanted to go. We found out over lunch there had been a diesel spillage on the round about where we wanted to go. E's place of work had no customers for over an hour as they were right in the middle of it all. Mum thought there may've been an accident, I thought Armed Defenders, turns out we were both wrong, thankfully!!

Lunch was really tasty, salmon rosti and salad for myself and spinch and mushroom frittata with salad for mum. We finished off by sharing a slice of ginger crunch with our hot drinks.
