Conker

Some of all the horse chestnuts have come down, but they haven't matured yet. One conker was partially brown & the other which I had cut thru was still white skin. Inner nut was still soft creamy green.

Plenty still on the tree all looking quite big so they too might have two small conkers some might be one big.

Just reminds me of going with Dad around the park to collect conkers.
