Tiny Tuesday

Although still warm, it is beginning to feel more like autumn.
Fortunately we have avoided the showers, and I have managed to get another lot of washing dry.

We called to see a friend this morning to wish him Happy Birthday and take a card and present. Unfortunately he is suffering with arthritis in his ankle, and is finding it very painful to stand, never mind walk.
Makes us realise we must count our blessings, and enjoy life while we can. He is only 7 years older than me.

Spent this afternoon tidying up the garden. Dead heading and cutting back. Have the hedge to tackle later this week.
