A dreich day with quite a lot of rain.  The HG is off driving for a recce, and I am having a home day.  No great inclination to go out in it, except to the shops.  Have been busy inside.  The birds have been rather busy at the feeders between downpours.

Thinking of the havoc being caused by Hurricane Dorian, and especially thinking of my niece Claire with Seth and Richard on the Outer Banks.  There is now a mandatory evacuation order in force, as they reckon the hurricane will hit the Outer Banks but Claire etc. often do not evacuate.

Also thinking of Anne, my good Blipmate in N.Carolina, who is prepared for the hurricane as she always does and hope that all goes well for her and Kent.
