... called by the dam this arvo and found this Pied Cormorant soaking up the warm sun.

Across the other side a Yellow-billed Spoonbill was busy feeding in the shallows. 

On the way there spotted this Olive-backed Oriole having a drink by a horse trough and just missed a full a full fly away!

We really do need rain, and after the Oriole noticed the turf farms along the mighty Hawkesbury River flats busy full on watering.
