Green Stockings

Harris had a leisurely morning snoozing whilst we were out (or at least that's what I imagine he was doing!)

After a lunch of tinned tuna and noodles (he loves tuna!), our Little Man was more than ready for his walk.

It made a pleasant change to be walking at this time of the day. I sensed that Harris liked it too.

I chose to walk Colney Woods again. It was very quiet, no birdsong and no fellow dog walkers to disturb my thoughts.

The lichen was everywhere. Every tree had its own green stocking. It was a very seductive walk.

And as I write this, Little Man is snoozing once again. I dare say he's gone to the Land of Nod!
